Snap-freezing plasma has never been so easy and reliable. No messy and expensive secondary refrigerant fluids, no pre-chill time before production can start, only simple and reliable direct refrigeration, controlled by intelligent and robust electronics.

The only machines that produce a batch report, linking donation numbers and hard copy confirmation of the complete process. The report guarantees that the batch was frozen without tampering or fault.

They even report and record external power failures and can produce monthly maintenance report forms at the press of a button for technical staff  to check through and sign. They can also be fitted with a communications module to allow for networking total process control.

The RPF50 MkIII freezes up to 50 standard 300ml plasma packs or 20 Aphaeresis packs in approximately 45 minutes to a core temperature of -30 degrees Celsius. The cycle time is adjustable to suit the users' particular validation requirements. The freezer plate layout produces flat frozen packs, which handle and store easily.

Donation numbers are scanned as the packs are loaded into the RPF50 and printed with a date coded batch number at the start of each cycle. The batch report system allows individual donations to be tracked in storage for easy location and correlation of test results and as a permanent record that the batch was frozen to time and temperature specification.

The RPF50 MkIII even prints in the batch report if the lid is lifted during the freezing cycle and adds this time onto the cycle time.

The RPF20 is the latest model in Allied Refrigeration and Engineering's range of Rapid Plasma Freezers.

Designed for use in centres with lower donation rates than large metropolitan centres the RPF20 freezes up to 20 standard 300ml plasma packs or 8 Aphaeresis packs in approximately 45 minutes to a core temperature of -30 degrees Celsius.

Like the larger RPF50 MkIII the RPF20 offers the same batch report system allowing individual donations to be tracked in storage for easy location and correlation of test results and as a permanent record that the batch was frozen to time and temperature specification.
